This is uncomfortable to admit, but I can't help everyone. (Neither can you.)
And that's what I tried to do for almost 10 years in coaching.
What woke me up is when I coach interior designers, because I've been practicing design for over 20 years, IT FEELS LIKE COMING HOME. I know the lingo, the trade terms, the things that make us all crazy, why we design, and the big changes the design industry is going through.
About a year ago, I let you know that I was making a BIG
SHIFT. I decided to refocus my coaching and consulting practice exclusively for and with interior designers, my home tribe.
Some folks in my community missed this message. I got a recent email from a concerned member that didn't understand why everything I was writing, speaking about, and coaching on was for designers.
First, I APOLOGIZE, it is never my intent to mislead anyone or spin your
wheels.
I'm still practicing design and I always will because I love it and I feel strongly that the way to be a better coach and consultant is to walk my talk, and to live the changes that are happening in our industry.
If you aren't in interior design or a related field, this may be your nudge to find someone who is a better fit for you.
Second, every email has an unsubscribe option at the bottom, and if you want to move on, that's okay. My goal is to support you on your path and if I'm not a fit, to encourage to find an expert who is. YOU DESERVE THE BEST FOR YOU!
Coming home to my tribe has felt really good.
It was scary at first because I felt like I was letting down everyone else. But it's really
in all of our best interests to PICK A LANE, and stick with it.
Maybe my picking of a lane will inspire you to pick your own lane. The biggest reason that I see anyone in business struggling is because of lack of clarity and focus. (And yes, it hurt my business.)
Lastly, I'm INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL to have you in my tribe and I hope you'll stay if you've been getting value from what is shared, the
events you're invited to, and the trainings provided.
You matter to me, so let's prosper by design, together.
