When I shared one of my favorite
strategies at a recent training, Christine thought it sounded kind of crazy to even want your clients to be your friends.
After all business is business and personal is personal. Right?
Design is a lifestyle business and the more of your life you bring to it, the more relatable you are and the easier it is for clients to connect to you and form a bond that becomes
lifetime.
And lifetime means a lifetime of business, projects, impact, and income from each client that you've turned into a friend.
Now, does turning your clients into friends sound more irresistible?
Well, Christine, despite her hesitation, decided to give the strategy a try.
We spoke on Wednesday this week and she was thrilled to report that her results are through the roof!
First it makes it much easier to define her ideal client against the standard of what she'd want in a
friend.
Second, she has been consistent and persistent with this technique and found that her clients are more at ease, happier, and over the moon when the project is delivered.
Third, rave reviews are no brainer now and referrals are flowing like honey on a hot day.
**Friends will always rave about you more than just a
client.
**Friends will gladly refer you to others they know.
**Friends keep you top of mind and look forward to your emails, calls, and text.
Adding one single strategy to your business consistently will deliver bigger results than adding too much inconsistently.
