Kim has a thriving luxury design practice. She works primarily with high end builders on one or two projects a year.
The homes take up to 2 years from start to finish and she is in on every detail from the doorknob to the mantel detail, from the paint colors to the upholstery.
One client even flew her first class to Egypt to attend local markets because that was where he was from and he wanted pieces from his homeland.
When Kim and I worked together on her business, we had coaching sessions scheduled, and there'd be times when I wanted to touch base in between.
That was when I discovered one of Kim's DIRTY LITTLE SECRETS, and it was costing her clients.
Remember, Kim's ideal clients are high end. They are living in one home, while building another. She works with the architect, the builder and every tradesman and contractor.
Missing a potential ideal client costs Kim hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Mega Hugs,
Melissa
PS. This weekend I'm knee deep at Atlanta's January Home Furnishings Market, can't wait to see the latest, hottest and greatest and learn even more about the business of design.
