I know that sounds totally counter intuitive and it's totally true.
As designers we don't like to sell, we'd rather be selecting furniture, finishes and fabric, space planning, creating color palettes, and being immersed in creative magic.
Selling for creatives can best be compared to chewing foil (did I just set your teeth on edge?)
What we do enjoy is educating our clients on the best choices for them.
When you do that right from the very start, the sale becomes a forgone conclusion and they'll step into a increased investment in design.
While it's simple, it's not easy especially if you think you have to sell and you keep dreading it.
What you resist persists, I'm inviting you to let go and step into a new old way of earning more in design without selling.
In fact, that's the title of the presentation I'm delivering at Suites at Market Square, Saturday, April 6 at 11:30am at High Point Market.
Will I see you at "Stop Selling at Earn More in Design?"
Details are here, just get there a bit early to grab the perfect seat, no registration necessary.
Today more than ever, clients are hungry to learn about what they're investing in and education empowers them to buy more from you.
If you've been feeling shopped and discounted, this is going to help you a lot!
Mega Hugs,
Melissa
