Celebrating MORE Wisdom! This last Sunday marked my 48th birthday, I can't believe I just said that outloud. Friends in Atlanta threw me a last minute celebration and I had a grand time catching up with many I hadn't seen since my last birthday. I've a new commitment to see everyone more often as a year is simply too long between good friends. When was the last time you caught up with friends near and far? Birthdays Online! I have to say it was so much fun to have my birthday remembered by friends on Facebook. While I am well aware that many have VA's who handle the birthday wishing, it still means a lot. I long ago gave up counting presents, but always count the presence of friends who share best wishes. I'm a sucker for cards and will leave them up on display for months following such an auspicious occasion!

Regularly sharing Strategy Sessions with Creativepreneurs I have found that the single greatest challenge to your success is your mindset. Success is as much a choice as it is anything else. You can work hard, you can put in long hours, you can be tremendously talented, but if you don't have the right mindset you won't get far. There are 5 simple and sure ways to create and maintain Your Prosperity Mindset:

#1 Create a Gratitude Habit
Every day at least once a day, jot down on an index card just 5 things you are grateful for. Now you can certainly write down 25 but often it is tough to come up with even 5! Consider some obvious one's: a place to live (it doesn't matter how nice, or if you own it), your health (or a single aspect of it, like good eyesight or hearing), reliable transportation (whether it is your car, the local metro, or a friend), family and friends (and if you don't have one, I bet you have the other!), a pet (always a blessing). It is all too easy to forget that there are many who are homeless, handicapped, ill, illiterate, hungry, and without even the basics. You have them (and likely a whole lot more.) Get thankful.

#2 Visualize Your New Reality
Okay, so you aren't too crazy about the reality you are in the middle of and you want to change it. Visualizing is an essential step to getting there. You can go anywhere in your mind, you can be anyone in your mind. And when you take these steps every day, forming a habit, these desires and dreams become part of your essential fabric. This becomes an integral part of the energy you live and breath every day and will bring the help you know what steps to take to forward your dream. This isn't about idly dreaming, that won't get you far. This is about active visualizing, even just once a day for 10 minutes, but every day. No skipping, no missing, no haphazard effort. Make this a success habit.
