I know I might sound like a broken record but far too many people still aren't getting it. When you invest your time in social networking it is only going to have real results when you get real and follow the "rules of engagement." Remember you are reading this from the marketing expert who turned off her Twitter profile at 55K, I didn't move that profile, I turned it totally off and started over. I'd learned the lesson that numbers don't matter.
Why am I ranting about this still? Well every day, every week, every month and more I'm still getting anonymous invites on Facebook and LinkedIN. Oh there's a name attached and sometimes even a face (be still my heart) but no note, no personal invitation, no warm fuzzy comment. In other words, nothing to make me want to say YES, I'd love to connect to you, I'd love to have you in my network, I'd love to further your success and serve your dreams. So I've laid it out for you here.
