As you are reading this, I am winging my way to Bonaire for a week of fun in the sun and scuba certification. Now I have to confess, I am totally intimidated by this. I jumped into the online course last Monday (yes that was my July Fourth holiday) and invested three hours in overwhelm and study.

I haven't been "in school" in a very long time and it showed! Having skydived and bungee jumped with nary a class I figured this would be comparable. It's not!

When I actually went to the local dive shop to pick up some gear, the guy opened with "there are hundreds of ways to kill yourself diving." Wow, that was a helluva an opener ... this week's post is about setting up expectations in your business and your life and making them positive while realistic. Clearly he was realistic but definitely not positive. You can be both and will go a lot further when you are.

(Oh and I guarantee you that someone reading this will get me on the difference between farther and further, my comment to that person is, I'm not perfect but close enough!)
