Does Your Brand Matter?

Okay, okay, I confess, I scheduled this out before
I left! There now you know. I decided I wanted to try
to have a laptop free vacation. Shocking and in this
virtual whirlwind of a world many would consider it
impossible. I am still old school (though I do walk my
talk) and believe in taking a time out and time off.

I also know that you count on my gold nuggets, words
of wisdom, and inspiration and I didn't want to miss
you so I've got a goody today about branding.

This came to me as I was purchasing batteries recently
and was reaching for the generic but suddenly realized
I wasn't comfortable with that and instead the silly
jingle for Duracell (you know the one ... "the copper
top battery" and then there is that ding dong noise?)
I decided to investigate why brand matters, when it
matters, and how to make your brand matter.
