Hey ,

I was fat; I didn't like myself. I was academic not
athletic, I was not in the popular crowd (heck I was
lucky to be a fringe element). I was desperately
seeking to belong. I had unrequited crushes. I was
lousy in drama. I was sure no one liked me. I just
wanted to get through it. Dances were disappointing.
I studied long and hard for my B+ average.

Basically, I got through it, though not sure I can
say I was unscathed. Sometimes looking back is the
only way to truly move forward. Last weekend was
the first high school reunion I've attended in
