stop making marketing hard, here's the fun way

Hey !

I just got back in Sunday from four full days at Opryland
in Nashville. Mohawk Industries (the flooring folks) had
hired me to speak to some 600 dealers about social media
and relationship marketing. It was a blast!

Check out the picture here taken by their Creative
Director. This was my third workshop and they kept
turning people away so a lot lined up almost an hour
early so as not to miss me. They termed me their
"rock star" very fun!

Many had never been on Facebook or Twitter or if they
were, it was because they had a son or daughter working
in the business. What I wanted to do was make it clear
that online marketing isn't any different than the offline
relationship building they did when they first started
their businesses.

Now, they may have gotten a bit lost along the way with
advertising and broad-casting, but really the essentials
of a good relationship stay the same.
