Are you feeling as overwhelmed as I am right now? I just barely got a holiday tree up this week and a wreath on my door. I feel guilty taking time out because it is just me, no family and friends mostly at a distance. Yet, I'm actually thinking about taking at least a week off of everything (yes social media too.) Skip the rest of my story and just grab your goodies!

Also in the midst of a bunch of business investments and I'd rather have root canal! Need a new laptop (please no need to chime in, making the leap to MAC just worried that I've lost my intuitive abilities with windows for over 20 years, lol) And I need a new phone (don't go there with Iphone, it takes me 5 tries to hit a key accurately, I am used to a Blackberry. Android anyone?)
What I'm dreaming of is a week of peace and quiet, entirely unplugged. (No, I really don't want to "play" on my new laptop. I want to embrace REALITY!) Reading some mysteries, crime novels, and chick lit. I'd love to catch a movie or five. (I did get to see 4 on recent hotel stay in Arizona!)
And time to refocus on what I'm best at and deliver the greatest value with, instead of trying to do it all. (Yes, I do get caught in that trap.)
So you see, life is not nearly as perfect as it might appear! In any case, I hope you have a totally awesome holiday no matter what you celebrate.
