When you are out and about are you paying attention?
Do you take lessons from every experience both good and bad, personal and professional?
I totally do and it's one of these BIG lessons that I'm dishing on today. I'm naming names here, but not in the post, LOL. I recently visited two furniture giants and it was eye-opening the differences in HOW they are selling. It doesn't matter if you like their style or prefer one to the other ... what matters is the HOW.

Oh and in case you are thinking what does this have to do with you? Think about the words you use when speaking with clients and prospects? Are you engaging their senses ... can they "taste the success," "smell the home made cooking in their new kitchen," "see the beautiful view in their vacation paradise," "feel the satisfaction of that next promotion," and "hear the song of celebration?" Using word like this specifically will engage their senses in your conversation.
