It reminded me of how important testimonials are, not just to build your confidence (let's face facts we all love that aspect), but to build your business.

And I've got a secret ace up my sleeve. Her name is Tricia Molloy and we've worked together off and on for over 15 years. She is a PR expert but more important she is the absolute best at eliciting knock out testimonials from all manner of clients. She actually had one of my design clients a number of years ago say "we think Melissa walks on water." Holy cow, I was just compared to a major religious figure and all I did was design their family room.
You see clients and customers will often say much more outrageous and complimentary things to a third party than they will to you. Wouldn't it serve you to get just 3-5 WOW testimonials to share on your website, in your marketing literature (if you still use any), on your business card, and on LinkedIn recommendations?
