Hey ,
As I write this, I've accomplished 1/3 of the move to my new place. Friends came by last evening and with the help of a truck and a mover deal through Living Socially (I couldn't pass up 2 guys for four hours at a total of $160), we got a boatload of boxes moved.
I've learned to do this in stages whenever I can. Tomorrow is the furniture. Then Wednesday is storage (yes, I do have that many holiday decorations and remnants from design projects and the shop I used to own!). It is a process. True to my history, I should be entirely unboxed by the weekend, artwork hung and look like I've lived there five years. (Did I mention I don't do temporary well and nest immediately?)
So, forgive me for not having a marketing article for today, I will on Saturday because some important lessons gleaned from the moving service and the delivery folks during this whole process, lessons you can adapt to your business and capture more clients and customers.
In the meantime, if you are in an area affected by Hurricane Sandy, stay safe, dry, and warm. We've seen some wind and amazing clouds but no rain.
Hugs, and may your week be box free!!

PS. And yes, I really am as organized as the stack you see in the picture and mark every box with room and contents. It makes unpacking so much easier.
