Hey ,
While moving is always a challenge, I've never lost a hamburger before. Let me explain. I got moved in October 31, Halloween, yes that should have been a clue ... All went well but on Sunday, I noticed this horrendous smell coming from my laundry closet. I hunted high and low and couldn't find the source so reported it to maintenance. They called in the plumber and the building superintendent and no one could find the source of the, by now, heinous odor.
Next step was to remove the washing machine, tear open the wall and get to the pipes. All this occurred on Thursday with a great deal of noise, vibration, and dust. To my absolute mortification after it was all opened up, the maintenance man called me in to look at an insulated bag I had stored on a shelf. He said look inside. There was a Ziploc bag of a hamburger patty that had been frozen when moved and was now rotting. I'd emptied the bag of all other food but had missed this entirely. The whole fiasco was my responsibility. EEEEK.
Well it got me to thinking about the stinky parts in our lives and businesses, READ MORE ... So I've written you a little article about how to tackle those parts without waiting for them to get so bad you start opening up walls and pipes!

I am relieved that the smell is going away finally, there is still a big whole behind the washing machine, but considering the trouble I put them all through, I'm just going to keep quiet about it for a bit.
Have a stink free weekend!
Hugs,
