The services for my dear friend this weekend in Connecticut were lovely. It was truly a celebration of her life and she'd have loved that. She requested that no one wear black, so I took her literally and wore a rainbow of color (www.facebook.com/melissagalt)
It was an amazing chance to catch up with friends I hadn't seen in 5+ years and longer. I may be getting up North a bit more often as I've an awful lot of friends whom I call family there, and truly miss them.

For many of us, it can be difficult to the point of excruciating to share ourselves so openly in this social world we live in. We are used to a distinct division between our professional life and our personal life and in this Social Age that just isn't possible nor recommended.
I get it on both sides, and wanted to give you a push on putting the REAL YOU out there.
