- Send a Thank You note to every networking contact you meet this week.
- Include a resource or contact that will move their business forward.
- Let them know clearly who a good lead for you is or what organization you are trying to reach, be specific for best results.
- Touch them next week with a short text or phone call to follow up again.
- Connect with them on your social media channels of choice. Stay top of mind.

Pet Project and Lessons from My Furry Family:
Meet Twiggy, I adopted her from FurKids a couple of months ago. I took her straight to my vet to be checked out and we discovered she was missing all her front teeth and had a broken canine. YIKES! Despite the trauma she has obviously endured (likely abuse before Furkids rescued her), she has a super sweet disposition and purrs like a motor, she doesn't allow her past drama to get in the way of her present happiness. That's a big lesson we can each take away.
She is still purring despite dental surgery last week to remove the broken canine and prevent future infection. She is a wonderful daily reminder that it is not our experiences that define us but how we move forward with lessons learned and our happiness intact no matter what.
