Whenever I start working with a new client, the first thing I do is Google them. In fact, I do this for prospects to determine if they are a great fit client (why work with anyone who isn't your ideal client?)

This instant snapshot of your online presence tells me 3 significant things:

1. How findable you are by name
   (I also google your specialty, more important!)

2. How consistent and persistent you are in your
   online presences (this is WHO YOU SAY you are)

3. What your style and expertise looks like
   (this is WHAT YOU DO)

Now, I also do a lot of website reviews and learn a lot more but the Google snapshot is key. HAVE YOU GOOGLED YOU LATELY? And when you do, be sure to click on those little tabs at the top, one that says images, and one that says video, you might be surprised.
