Here's MY POINT! Before any event that you attend live, reach out to the presenters through more than one channel. If they have written a book and you don't have time (or the desire) to read it, look up some reviews to get key points.
When you are genuinely interested in them beyond "gee, that was a great speech," (boring, I know, because I've gotten lots of those) and show that you "know them" beyond that moment, you will form friendships, both professional and personal, that will grow your business and your life!
It's time to reach beyond the boundaries you have created, stretch yourself and grow your business. This event is going to make a huge difference! Will I see you there??
