Can you finish that jingle? I can and it means it's time for a break.
I knew I was in trouble when my usual writing ability was oddly absent when I sat down to write to you. Instead there was nothing but a blinking cursor and a blank page (okay technically blank screen, I know.)
It's been one of those weeks where my brain is just FRIED!
Do you know that feeling, where you are just FULL and DONE?
Then I had a Dr. Seuss moment where I thought and I thought, till I thunk myself out. And I decided that you need a break like I do.
So here is this weekend's recipe for fun!
Turn off your computer, untether yourself from technology.
Connect with real live friends FACE 2 FACE.
My favorite way is to have a party, and tonight I've got a posse of friends coming by to ring in Halloween (goblin bells, of course) and say cheers to the last of October and my birthday!
When was the last time, you just called up a handful of friends and said let's get together. Don't make it fancy, just festive and if you do potluck, they will bring the food and drink!
(I'll confess, I'm cheating and having it catered.)
Oh and if you are worried about your house, don't be, dim the lights offer a glass of wine and no one will notice any imperfections. (I know because I used to be so crazed that I'd run around before a party touching up my walls. YIKES, can you say retentive?)
And if a party isn't it, then get outdoors. I'm going to take myself to the Botanical Gardens because this is the last weekend of Imaginary Worlds with the double bonus of Scarecrows and Goblins.

So rather than stress (yes it is a choice) over the blank screen and blinking cursor, I've decided to reveal my weekend and encourage you to get OFFLINE and into real time whether with friends and family(a party) or on your own (Botanical Gardens for me).
