In honor of this romantic holiday, I want to encourage you to share some love with your business. The most successful businesses are built on passion because when you are at your passionate best your enthusiasm and excitement are entirely magnetic and memorable to everyone you meet (especially to prospective clients!)



It is easy to get sidetracked by the quest for the almighty dollar. Don't let it happen to you.

When I started my first business, I was $70,000 in debt, living in a cramped apartment, with way too many credit card bills every month and no clients. EEEEK!

I got creative and worked nights at Evening at Emory teaching busy professionals (WOOT, WOOT my ideal client) and weekends in a hot, sweaty catering kitchen.

You do what you have to do until you get to do what you want to do, but you never give up your dream.

Just like in the post here, I had people tell me I should go back to corporate America, or they suggested other alternatives. NO THANKS! I was on path with purpose and passion and was debt free and earning six figures within 18 months.

I was also working 15 hour days, 6 days a week because I was totally in love with my business!
