, it's Friday morning, I'm sitting at my desk and this isn't making sense to me ... I've hit a roadblock.

I just wrote a blog post, I'm going to delete because it is junk.

I sent a title and topic to a meeting planner yesterday that I don't love.

I've been attending a 3 day event that is forcing me to face the fact that I've been listening to everyone except myself about what I want and how I want to get there.

&*^%$#^&* Crap! (And that's being polite, which I generally am.)

I'm feeling RESISTANCE and I decided to tell you about it because I think you know this place too.

This is the place that isn't all happy and smiling, in fact sitting here, I really just want to burst into tears, but know that isn't productive. (Sometimes being productive is just plain over rated.)

I'm worn out from doing it the way I see other people doing it because that isn't my style.

Can I be honest? (Hmm, that would be refreshing!)

I don't like virtual. Yes, it is wildly convenient, but for me, the best learning takes place in real time, face to face, voice to voice, heart to heart. It is damn near impossible to create that over just the internet.

And going live is very scary.

The being live is easy and fun for me, the scary part is the logistics. Where? When? Will You Come? What Will It Cost (me to put on and you to attend?)

I know, I'm not supposed to let you see this side, but I'm tired of holding it all in. I'm tired of pretending that I don't experience RESISTANCE too, that somehow it is all perfect inside my world, it isn't.

And most of all I'm tired of all the bloody advice I keep getting from expert sources telling me how I'm supposed to appear, what I'm supposed to say. It just isn't real. (I work hard with my clients to do the exact opposite. I want them to be themselves, and act on strategies that bring that forward not bury it.)

And I am real. I am fabulously real. I am terrifyingly real. It all depends on where you are standing I suppose.

Now, this email may piss you off, it may upset you, you may unsubscribe, I'm okay with that.

I've not been sharing enough of me with you and that is going to change.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I've been wearing a bit of a costume, the cloak of "good intentions" and hat of "the right way."

The problem is that this gives you license to do that to and that is way not cool. That makes you blend in, instead of stand out. And I know that standing out and being yourself is the ONLY WAY to make a real difference for yourself, your clients, and the world at large.

So going forward, everything I do is going to be geared to getting us, YOU and ME, face to face.

No matter how far away you live, I want you to tuck that promise in the back of your mind or tack it to the front of your vision board.

Face to face is where change really happens, it is where the biggest impact occurs, it is where breakthroughs are born.

I'm going to delay The Prosperity Path a wee bit to add in a LIVE EVENT component, because it was missing for me and for you. (And yes, the awesome participants on the path, know about this and are cool with it.)
