(old technology these days) from
a top end online marketer. We had
been in the same Ali Brown workshop
and I wanted to hear her style.
I was shocked at the poor quality of the
recording and knowing how far this
marketer had come since she began,
I didn’t understand why she didn’t do
a fresh recording.
The reality is that she didn’t let perfect
stand in the way of getting her work done,
into the marketplace, and making
a difference. And truth be told, she was
making millions way before any of the
rest of us in that same workshop were.
(We were caught in the trap of perfect.)
She wasn’t more talented, she simply
let go of perfection and kept getting
her work finished enough to get it to
market for sale, for leads, for visibility,
for profitablility.
DONE BEATS PERFECT EVERY TIME!
Perfectionism is a massive trap and
potentially the biggest reason that
business owners stall out.
I’ve wrestled with it as well and I’m
delivering a recording in today’s email
that I nearly stalled in perfectionism.
Best laid plans, I’d ordered a new headset
since I seem to be having questionable
quality with my current one (though they
say truckers swear by it!)
Despite investing in extra speedy shipping
it failed to show up and the free training
I delivered Wednesday was with the old headset.
I’ve tortured myself considerably over this,
and decided that instead of allowing my own
inner critic (aka my hidden perfectionist)
to sabotage and not allow me to send out
a replay, I’d send it out anyway and
get your feedback.
So, here it is! And I do want to hear from
you about the sound quality.
