You can play BIG or you
can stay small, the choice is yours.
How you frame your business, your expertise, and the results your clients achieve can follow your industry traditions or you can break free from that mold and play a BIGGER GAME.
A couple of months ago I was speaking with a coach in a very niche industry who is the most recognized expert in her industry.
That level of credibility and visibility would allow her to put her low ticket offer on auto-pilot, while she then
redesigns her high level offerings and includes a subscription service for corporate clients.
The challenge is that she is trapped in her comfort zone of following the industry. Her price mirrors her competition despite her reputation being much more significant and having much greater experience.
She is frustrated by limited revenues but unwilling to raise rates, create new programs, automate low end offerings and hesitates in following up with past clients to
rekindle new revenue.
The issues aren't about strategy.
This has nothing to do with tools or even technology.
This is all about her belief systems.
She struggles to BELIEVE SHE IS THE BEST at what she does.
(And if she doesn't believe it, no one else will either.)
She wrestles with the idea that SHE HAS GREATER EXPERTISE than others in her industry.
(And if she isn't sure about that, no one else
will believe it either.)
Despite rave reviews of her programs, she is uncertain about the VALUE SHE BRINGS, so she is unwilling to increase rates.
You can swim in the same pool with the competition and risk being eaten alive or you can separate yourself by doing your business differently.
If everyone else jumped off a cliff, would you do it too?
Please stop following the flock, you are in danger of ending up a lamb chop!
You
have a one-of-a-kind combination of education, experience, expertise, hobbies, interests and personality that no one else, on the face of the earth, can duplicate.
If the average rate for your industry is $5K for a 90 Day program, either charge twice that and create ways to deliver more than double the value OR charge half as much and make it a group program.
Don't do it the same old way.
The great part about rates is that you can always raise what is
low and lower what is high.
Look at your business as an experimental playground, don't just copy what everyone else is doing.
YOU ARE YOU, NOT EVERYONE ELSE.
The reason there are so many models in business is because there are so many skillsets, personalities, and goals.
If you aren't loving how you are doing it, then change it.
My focus is on making more money with fewer clients a lot faster because I love rapid
transformation AND I love to have time for my extraordinary life.
I believe that work is an integral part of my life, but it is not the whole of my life.
