While turkey is one of my favorite foods at Thanksgiving, I sure don't want to look like one in business.

Did you know that turkeys are too fat to fly? (Totally true, they can fly but eat too much to be able to, that's real gluttony.)

In business this is when you are gorging on information and failing to take action. Your business becomes bloated with information, strategies, tools, and programs that you didn't put into action which would have had you soaring with the eagles.

Did you know that eating too much turkey can actually create an effect like intoxication? (It's the tryptophan in the turkey to blame.)

In your business this is that sort of overwhelmed feeling you get where you feel unable to make any decisions or take any action (think of everyone sitting around in their recliners watching the ball game after the Thanksgiving feast).

Eagles, on the other hand, are always in flight, always soaring to new heights and exploring new opportunities, no recliners for them.
