go have some fun!

Published: Sat, 05/28/16

I'm playing this holiday weekend, and I recommend you do to.

All work and no play is going to make us both very dull and irritable, never very attractive to ideal clients.

It is often easy to work by default.

I definitely fall into this trap from time to time.

I'll suddenly look up and realize it's 9pm. and I've been catching up on my social media for 2 hours.

(While it can be fun, it's vital to take time to recharge without being tethered to technology.)

I'll be up in Highlands, NC briefly this holiday weekend.

Can't wait to get out in my garden. In fact, by the time you read this I will be at the Garden Club sale, fantastic prices on totally native plants.

Last year I got a couple of dahlias that bloomed beautifully in July. (No that wasn't all I got, are you kidding? I need a truck when there's a Garden Club Sale!)

I'm going to join a friend at the Alpharetta Arts Festival on Sunday for a day of fun in the sun.

Monday, I'll catch up on Creative Live's 30 Days of Genius, entirely free.

Put an out of office message on your email and turn off your phone (I really do this!)

Recharge in the real world and reconnect with those you love who matter most.

See you next week!

Mega Hugs,
Melissa
