First, please check to ensure your target market is on Twitter, it they aren't ignore this.
If you don't have a current Twitter account, you'll need to set one up and this isn't about how to do that. Though it isn't complicated to do, I'm presuming you already have one.
Now, you need a lead magnet or an opt-in.
You know, this is either a cheat sheet, a tip list, an ebook, or an infographic that your market totally can't live without.
You've got to have this at a domain that can collect their email address (there are a ton of tools that let you do this or you can do it through your website; tool time is bite-sized pieces and I'm focusing on a cool Twitter tool today.)
The
cool tool today is Social Oomph. I used this years ago and loved it but tools change and I found something I like better, UNTIL NOW.
I just discovered that Social Oomph will allow me to have the same tweet recur over X number of hours.
That means that I can schedule out my lead magnet or opt-in link
in a prewritten tweet and get it going out every 8 hours or every 4 hours or any other predetermined time range I choose.
This means you do not have to write a boatload of brand new tweets for the same link.
And by leaving it on recurrent, it will show up around other content you are sharing automatically and personally day after day.
Twitter moves incredibly fast. It is totally okay to send the same tweet more than once with hours in between.
In fact, someone who missed it the first and second time, may finally see it and click on it the third time or the tenth time.
This is a beautiful thing and it doesn't depend on when you are on line or if you've scheduled a boatload of tweets to go
out.
Instead this is one single tweet you've crafted that you can set to recur at the interval you desire.
I'm back on Social Oomph just to leverage this sweet opportunity.
You can snag a 7 day free trial, or you can jump in for $14/month (they are
sneaky because they say it's $6.97, but then the fine print says every 2 weeks, betting a lot of users miss that nugget.)
Imagine getting even 10 new opt-ins per week (very conservative) for less than the cost of a Starbucks?
For me, that's no-brainer.
Tell me what you'll do with this. This inquiring mind wants to know.
Mega Hugs,
Melissa
PS. I already schedule out my Twitter content with Buffer App, and I'm using Social Oomph in conjunction with that content to encourage more opt-ins.
