5 steps to get more business with better clients

Published: Sat, 09/24/16

When I first began coaching over a decade ago, it was at the request of my interior design colleagues.

I'd done some unique things in my business and the results were through the roof.

One of my keys is in how I build client relationships.

There are 5 simple steps I follow that make it easy, fun, and profitable.

In fact, I'm very fortunate to have lifetime clients who continue to call me back to work on their interior design.

I realized that all the coaching, consulting and speaking that I've done all goes back to how I design business and what I taught my early coaching clients.

The articles and posts I'm sharing today, and going forward ... READ MORE will all be based in design.

Design is experiential by its very nature and today, more than ever, your clients in whatever business you are in, are looking for an experience, far beyond mere information.

We are all buried in information.

It hurls itself at us via email (my daily avalanche is over 300), text, tweets, chat, FB posts, LI messages and so much more.

And we can get any information we want at the stroke of a few keys on the keyboard, an experience is something special and interactive and can be achieved both virtually and in real time.

It transcends mere information.

How can you transform your business from one that provides information to one that creates an experience for each and every client?

Melissa

PS. Yes, I am returning to my design roots, they run deep. My great grandfather was the iconic architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. Interestingly, he was very prolific in his early years, then from 50-70 far less so, then experienced a resurgence 70-90. Well my lull was 45-55 and it's coming to a rapid end. Design is the core of life for me and it's how I create business success for clients. We all prosper by design.
