While this is most often a time off of work, that works even better when your business is delivering gifts of profitability, satisfied clients, new opportunities, and growth steadily through the year.
Is your business delivering that?
While most years my business does deliver that, there are times when it hasn't.
There are times when I didn't experience growth, when I didn't have the clients I wanted, and when new opportunities were few and far between.
And inevitably those times had everything to do with what I
was focusing on and the activities I had prioritized.
It sounds simple, yet it's easy to fall out of focus and into distraction.
It's also common for business owners to prioritize actions that keep them busy but not productive.
That's what leads to that place of spinning your wheels but not going anywhere. It's productive that leads to
profitable, fulfilled, and happy in business.
This applies whether you are new to business or have been established for a few or many years.
In today's information age, we are all overwhelmed by the avalanche of programs, tools, strategies, and processes we can learn and apply.
Chasing the next solution can become a full time occupation
that keeps you from acting on what you know will work.
Learning that next technology, instead of using the old technology that you know works (with a few less bells and whistles) can strand you in striving instead of arriving and achievement.
Second guessing yourself into the ground about the best next steps can truly stall your growth.
These
are all traps that I keep my clients out of, and I'd be happy to help you avoid them as well.
