Hey

When I started working with Cindy, she was caught in overwhelm and busy but not productive.

When I asked her what she got done each week, she thought for a minute and then realized that she really wasn't sure.

She'd never been asked that before, she was just caught on the eternal hamster wheel of busyness and wasn't paying attention to what was essential vs. merely important.

Her clients that got the most attention made the most noise with extraneous emails, texts and calls.

Other clients, less communicative, were almost neglected (not a recipe for loyalty or referrals.)

The funny thing about it was that when I coached Cindy, it was clear that she knew what to do.

She was aware of the necessary strategies, the correct actions, she'd just gotten to a place where she'd thrown up her hands in defeat, and allowed her business to run her instead of her taking charge of it.

The first thing I did was put in place a weekly accountability.

In fact, I do this with all my private clients.

Each Friday, I send four short questions and look for a quick reply to ensure they are on track and moving forward.

This singular component of my coaching has proved profoundly valuable.

I'm betting you are a lot like Cindy.

You know what to do. You've got the strategies.

But, and this is key, you've allowed yourself to get run over by your business.

And you've been in that hamster wheel place long enough that reclaiming control without a little help feels nearly impossible.

This is only for you when you know what you need to do and you need the nudge to do more of it.

This is not coaching. It is ALL ABOUT ACCOUNTABILITY.

Every Friday, I'm going to send you the same four short questions that I send to my private clients.

When you reply by email, I'll acknowledge your reply, send a quick dose of encouragement, and when necessary a super short strategic action to get you out of a stuck or stalled place.

There are no group calls here (you work well independently or may already be in a group, but lack the accountability piece.)

There are no phone coaching sessions here, (you may already be in another program, this is the perfect layer on top.)

There is no FB group (you don't need it, it would only be a distraction.)

This is about getting more of what you need to done and stop wasting time stuck in spin or overwhelm.

You may be surprised to find that this is far less than the price of a cup of coffee daily and yet it is priceless in it's impact.

Oh, and back to Cindy.

The weekly accountability was initially a stretch for her.

She resisted it and was uncomfortable.

It put a spotlight on the fact that she was avoiding the essential in favor of the merely important.

She was prioritizing by what client or issue made the most noise, instead of by which moved the needle farther in her business and added the most to her bottom line.

Within the first 30 days, she made a shift.

The accountability got not only easier, but became fun because she could see the results of the shifts she was making and the new strategies she was applying.

She effectively reclaimed control of her business.

And she redesigned her business for the growth she wanted.

Including starting to put a team in place to support her success.

Accountability can be incredibly valuable when you use it properly.
