When Carol called me it was because she had no new projects coming
in.
She was used to a steady stream and had been growing the last few years, but this time was different.
When I asked her what she did for marketing, she said, "NOTHING."
I asked her again since I was sure I'd misunderstood.
She repeated herself, "NOTHING."
Clearly coasting on word of mouth and a good website had been good for her, bringing in as much as $350K in revenue in the last year...
Now, the usual flow from her website and online referral sites had stopped.Â
(Google and other online sites are based on mathematical algorithms, when they change those, and they do, traffic and leads can stop overnight.)
And
to make it more challenging, she still had two projects in the works from the previous year but almost all the monies had already come in.
She'd been using classic designer BANK BALANCE BOOKKEEPING until recently when she got a new bookkeeper and was finally getting a true handle on her cash flow (or lack thereof.)
Carol had no marketing plan, no lead generation system, and no referral system in
place.
And while she had been smart enough to bank monies for slow times, she didn't want slow to turn into down and out.
The BREAKTHROUGH GAME PLAN she needed was all about marketing and lead generation and the support and guidance to implement it.
(Oh, and there was a piece around bookkeeping since she'd gotten a new bookkeeper on board and
was ready to get out of bank balance bookkeeping and leverage tools for greater profitability.)
The digital landscape had shifted again and what she'd been relying on wasn't working any longer, so new strategies were called for.
Strategies that would make her design practice immune to the seemingly random changes Google makes, and that would guarantee here ideal clients would find her no matter
what.
Would those kind of strategies be useful in your design business?
I'm putting together a new program called DESIGN STARS and looking for a select handful of designers interested in being case studies.
You must have revenues of $150K or more and want a BREAKTHROUGH GAME PLAN for your business.
Now, whether your plan is like Carol's and is focused on marketing or whether you need one that is focused more on organizing operations and installing PROCESSES FOR PROFITâ„¢ to rescue you (and your team) from overwhelm, depends on what's going on in your design practice.
This is NOT ONE SIZE FITS ALL, that doesn't even work in yoga pants!
While the Design Star Program is 6 months, we'll meet by phone for just 60 minutes and you'll have a rock solid BREAKTHROUGH GAME PLAN that, when implemented, will produce
profitable results.
When we connect you are getting my 20+ years of successful design business experience and expertise to craft, together, a custom BREAKTHROUGH GAME PLAN that offers incredible results when
implemented.
We'll also both get to make a decision.
Your decision is, with your Breakthrough Game Plan in hand, if you want to have my take-you-by-the-hand guidance, step by step strategies, and show-you-how-to-do-it coaching to get you there inside Design Stars.
If you want to explore it, we'll discuss the details. If not, you've got a plan in
hand.
My decision is to determine if you are the right fit for my style of coaching (are you open, will you move past resistance and your comfort zone...) and ready to become a Design Star (bigger than you already are!)
There's a saying by marketing giant Paul Arden "It's not how good you are; it's how good you want to be."
How good do you want
to be?
I'm here to help you get EVEN BETTER...
Mega Hugs,
Melissa
PS. If you don't currently qualify for the Breakthrough Game Plan due to revenue limitations, know that I've got new trainings in the pipeline just for you! Better yet, if you are close and think you should qualify, go ahead and complete the questions and I'll evaluate your readiness based on your answers. GO HERE.
