keep tabs on every dollar and turn the department from a loss into a profit center.
Your business should be a profit center and you deserve to earn for every aspect of your business.
While, of course, your design talent gets compensated, so does your operational ability, your communication skills and time, and your ability to follow up and deliver.
As long as I've been coaching and consulting the first place I start with a business is to check out your numbers. I want to know not just how much you're making but how you are making it. What are you billing for, what are you skipping (money leaks!)
Imagine being able to uncover a couple of thousand a month or $10K per project in your business just by stopping the money leaks?
