And when it comes to getting more (and better) clients that's profoundly true.
Like most of my coaching clients, I'm betting you are overlooking some key referral sources.
I like to call these folks GATE OPENERS (instead of gatekeepers which suggest they'll keep you out.)
Gate Openers are
people who know of you, they respect and appreciate your talent, and they are connected to one or more of your ideal clients.
You've been focusing on how to meet more of your ideal clients directly, sometimes indirect can be easier and create a full pipeline for you.
So let's think for a minute, who would be potential GATE OPENERS…
The obvious
choices for designers are:
**Real Estate Agents
BE SELECTIVE, you only want the agents who have buyers in the right neighborhoods and at the right price point, not all agents.
**Architects
GET CHOOSY, you only want architects that work in a style compatible with
your talent and that work with clients ready to invest.
**Builders
BE DISCERNING, you only want builders that work in quality neighborhoods, have stellar reputations, and have a style compatible with your talent.
Here's the deal, if you TAKE ACTION, as in do just a bit of research and connect with just 3 of these folks in your
network (online or offline) each week, you can expect to see results in as little as 30 days.
(And sometimes as few as 3 days! Been there and experienced that.)
On the other hand, if you take no action, you'll see no results.
