I'm over the moon excited about heading to Australia next
Saturday!
Originally they were only going to make this a long weekend, but I've managed to add time to visit with my cousin and his wife while in Melbourne.
They live on a ranch in the outback and saw them on my last visit 17 years ago!
And then, I've got a full day and evening to myself in Melbourne (ideas welcome), before taking the train
(want to see the country) to near Sydney.
A gal, who found me on Facebook about 4 months ago, owns the ranch my mom and dad had when I was born.
(Queue the Twilight Zone theme... and to clarify I was born in Los Angeles but taken back to Australia for about 15 months)
I'm visiting with her and she's taking me to the ranch on my birthday!
(Feels kind of auspicious.)
She's even gotten in touch with the local women's association and some of them remember my mom (she's been gone 32 years now.)
Being easy to find via social media has its rewards (and not just in business.)
I wrapped up a design project today, and exploring a couple of new one's next week, but won't start until I
return.
My coaching clients are "going with me" via skype. No reason to miss calls and I'll get to share cool scenery!
Last time I visited Australia, I actually explored the requirements for relocating, I loved it that much.
Have you been? What do you recommend knowing I've such a short time, but don't want to miss
anything.
Are you sharing your BIG NEWS with your clients and community? Or are you keeping it all a secret?
I'll confess sharing it on Facebook was easy because it meant I could get the word out to some who even lived there and offered key recommendations.
And I've other friends and clients who are dying to hear all about it and see the
pictures.
If you want to be in that loop, my Facebook account is HERE.

Bring your clients, whether online or offline, into your life a bit more. Let them know what you're up to, it
builds your know, like and trust factor.
Been ages since I've been overseas and I really don't mind long flights, lots of time for reading and listening to podcasts.
What's your favorite thing to do on a long flight (sleep doesn't count!)
Mega Hugs,
Melissa
PS. Really do want your
recommendations on where to go in Melbourne and what to see if you know it!
