One of the biggest reasons that "transparent" has become such a buzzword is that it represents the art of being human in front of others. It is also about being honest, authentic, and vulnerable. We are all afraid of looking foolish and yet when we embrace our humanness, including making mistakes and looking foolish, others often relate more closely to us.
People are constantly seeking ways to belong and to connect. When you are willing to share the truth of who you really are (not just the masks you wear) others are more able to effectively connect with you. Life and business are not about perfect but being, as I like to say, "imperfectly perfect and divinely human!"
Step into the reality of being human and deliciously flawed. Be willing to show your weakness and stop pretending you are super human. It is by sharing your truth that you will be able to make the greatest difference to your market, to your audience, to your client, to your customer, and to your friends and family.
